What you get
Services
Three fixed price tiers designed around where a biotech company is in its life. Every tier includes science accurate copy, custom design, and mobile responsive build. None of them involve explaining what a PCR is.
CodonForge offers three fixed-price biotech website design packages: Launch ($5,000 for pre-seed teams), Platform ($10,000 for Seed-stage companies), and Series A ($20,000+ for full-scope positioning). Every engagement includes science-accurate copywriting by a PhD biotechnologist, custom design, and a mobile-responsive build that reads clearly on a phone in a conference hallway.
Pre-seed biotech website design for newly incorporated teams
You have closed your first check or just incorporated. Your investors expect a site. Your recruits will look it up before saying yes. You need to look credible before you have a product, a paper trail, or a team photo.
Launch gets you a polished one to three page site with a home page that describes what the company does without dumbing it down, a contact form, and a clean enough design that a Series A investor who lands on it does not immediately click away.
What's included
Not included: interactive data visualizations, pipeline tables, team pages with individual bios, and investor-ready content systems. Those are Platform tier. Launch is speed and credibility, not depth.
Life sciences web design for Seed-stage companies raising their next round
You have money in the bank and you are building the narrative for your next round, for key scientific hires, and for potential partners and collaborators. A home page with a paragraph about "next-generation solutions" is not going to do it.
Platform is a full custom five to seven page site. The technology page explains your actual mechanism, not a cartoon version of it. The pipeline page has real assay or program data. The team page is investor-ready. The home page can survive being read by a scientist with domain expertise.
What's included
The VeriDx demonstration build is Platform tier. It shows what the interactive melt-curve visualization looks like, what a well-structured pipeline page looks like, and how technical mechanism writing reads when the person writing it understands the science.
Series A life science web design for companies that need to control their story
You are past proof-of-concept. The science is real, the data is real, and the people reading your site will check both. The site needs to do serious work: keep investors informed, attract serious scientific hires, and position you clearly against a field that is also maturing.
This tier starts with a messaging and positioning engagement. Before any design, we work out what the site should say, who it is talking to in each section, and how your technology is distinct from the competition. The build follows from that foundation.
What's included
Scope determines final cost. The $20,000 floor covers the messaging work and a full Platform-plus build. Companies with more complex needs, larger content systems, or integration requirements will have a higher final number. It gets worked out on the first call.
After launch
Monthly care plan
Biotech moves fast. A pipeline milestone, a new raise, a Nature paper, a key hire. Your site needs to keep up, and you do not want to chase down a freelancer every time you have an update.
The monthly care plan gives you a dedicated slot each month for content updates, copy additions, new pages as needed, and technical maintenance. Site updates turn around in 24 to 48 hours. The price scales with volume. Most clients on care plans spend between $500 and $1,500 per month.
Care plans are available to CodonForge-built sites only. They start after launch, cancel anytime, and do not require a long-term commitment.
